According to Water UK, 'fatbergs' may be made up of up to 93% wet wipes. Don't Believe The Wipe! Even the so called flushable toilet tissue wipes do not disintegrate sufficiently.

Our background
We are a family-run small enterprise operating in Cornwall, UK. The product is the brainchild of Stuart, whose background is in Environmental Science. As a family we have travelled extensively around Asia, where attitudes & techniques to toiletting are very different. Having had two children go through toilet training, and grow up, you realise that most of us are left to get on with it unassisted from a very young age. Consequently there is very little intervention, if we develop bad habits. These can range from people's postures on the loo, to their hygiene afterwards and what they flush away.
The problem with wet wipes
In the last twenty years there has been a rapid growth in the use of wet wipes, which is completely understandable really. Dry toilet paper is particularly ineffective at cleaning anything, when compared to water. But most of the moist wipes on the market contain plastic fibres, and those that don't are never able to disintegrate on flushing, as toilet paper has been developed to do. Around ten years ago we became aware of the problem these wet wipes were having for British sewer companies. Used wipes were even finding their way into our sea and onto our beaches.
A gel alternative
After much research we looked to develop an alternative that made normal toilet paper better at the job. Ruling out standard cleansers or a bum cream, we eventually developed the first gel for this purpose based on extracts of seaweed and essential oils. The seaweed extract is odourless, it's entirely safe and in fact is used as a thickening ingredient by the food industry. We also add fresh organic Aloe Vera grown locally especially. You use toilet paper like normal to begin with, then apply some of the gel to the toilet paper and wipe. The consistency of the gel has been refined to work with any toilet tissue, and not make it disintegrate. A few wipes later you're not only fresher & cleaner than with toilet paper alone, but also less likely to suffer from a number of health issues. Nothing goes down the toilet that blocks sewers, pollutes the sea or causes 'Fatbergs'.
